Acre Memos

is a song tribute to the Piney Woods of Silsbee, TX, as sung by Eric Adams. Eric teaches high school and writes songs on his lunch break. He drives 10 minutes north of town to Tommy Read's studio to record. They sing late into the night and get giddy about getting to sing. It's a communion between the two. With little convincing but much luck, Hannah Read and Cody Green join in on the fun. It's something to keep living for and for remembering what a life it is ya got.

Acre Memos' second album, A Collection of Bird Songs, is 10 songs of swimming and flying, losing and losing, and of course, love. It was recorded at Lazybones Studio in Silsbee, TX, sporadically throughout 2020-2022. It features a lot of singing, acoustic guitars, hammer dulcimer, cello, piano, drums, bass, synth and flute. Released by Double Yolk Record House on November 22, 2022.

At some urging, Little Mazarn took a trip down to Silsbee, TX, in order to work with Tommy Read, Hannah Read, and Eric Adams. The team came together as half strangers with half songs to create these five song recordings. Thank goodness. This is one that won't wear out.
