Eric Adams is a studio artist residing in southeast Texas, and the songwriter for Acre Memos. Introduced to the Darkroom at Lamar University, Eric found a space to narrate tales from his childhood, growing up on a dead-end road surrounded by aunts, cousins, and third-generation nephews. This small piece of land was affectionately named the Acre. Following graduation and the loss of access to a darkroom, he transitioned to writing songs and recording them with friends. However, he never strayed too far from photography, often setting up a darkroom in a trailer park or a backyard shed. Eric's work is deeply grounded in a profound desire to share stories and connect with the passersby.
